The 61EDPH-III from Sharpstar improves upon the previous iterations of the 61EDPH by providing two elements of low-dispersion ED glass in its triplet, air-spaced, apochromatic design. This provides a higher quality image for astrophotography.
With a focal length of 360 mm and a 61 mm aperture, the 61EDPH-III has a focal ratio of f/5.9 and supports a 44 mm, full-frame image circle. All of this amounts to a high-quality, portable refractor with superb imaging qualities, especially when paired with the optional dedicated reducer or flattener!
The Sharpstar 61EDPH-III is solidly constructed of aluminum and anodized white with red highlights for lasting beauty. The upgraded, multifunction handle attaches to the cradle ring and provides an Arca-Swiss slot and accepts Vixen-style dovetail plates for mounting various accessories, such as a guidescope. Also included is a 200 mm Vixen-style dovetail plate for connecting the optical tube to an alt-azimuth or equatorial mount. The built-in dew shield is retractable.
Sharpstar Full-Frame Flattener (Sold Separately)
This field flattener for the Sharpstar 61EDPH-III provides a flatter field for astrophotography, minimizing aberrations and haloing in images. Supporting full-frame camera sensors, this field flattener is a great compliment to an astrophotography setup based on the 61EDPH-III. Constructed in a 3-element, air-spaced triplet configuration, this flattener features excellent peripheral light reduction control.
Sharpstar Full-Frame 0.75x Reducer (Sold Separately)
This Sharpstar f/4.4 Full-Frame Focal Reducer for 61EDPH-III for the Sharpstar 61EDPH-III reduces the focal length of the system to 270 mm, for a reduced focal ratio of f/4.4. This reducer adopts a 4-element, air-spaced, quadruplet lens configuration, with support for full-frame camera sensors. The lenses have full-surface, multi-layer coatings. In all, this reducer is a great choice for photographing deep sky objects.

Thank you Laurence, the unit works very well with the speaker arrangement I have and has a clear sound, it has brought new life to these since my amp blew many years ago. Vaughan
